Will someone please explain how or when to use these menu items or direct me to a good resource? Thank you! https://manuals.plus/tidradio/td-h3-two-way-radio-manual This is more helpful than the booklet. I hate tiny booklets. "1750Hz Repeater Tone (R-TONE) – Menu No.32 With this function you can select IO00Hz, l 450Hz, l 750Hz, 2100Hz repeater tone. To send out a repeater tone; You hold down the [PTT] + [ LAMP ] key. If you have the keypad lock enabled on your radio, you can still send al 750Hz tone the regular way without having to unlock your radio." I think it's great to get a full day out of them no matter what you do. SteveShannon and TrikeRadio
TrikeRadio
I generally run the power save on 1:3 and with mostly monitoring but with a significant amount of transmitting too... I think I get two days or more out of a battery charge. I also bought the two radio set that came with an extra battery for each of the radios so... I really never worry about running out of power.
