Mic connectors

Many appear to be what looks like RJ45 connectors.  Is there an industry standard for the wiring, making them interchangeable, or is each mic matched to its corresponding radio?

No, there is not. Each mic is wired to its own radio.

It’s possible to make a microphone from one work with another, but because of different features, like push buttons on the mic, some things might not work as expected.

While the mic works and PTT is fine, the keypad is no bueno, so I’m back to the stock mic.

I could try to re-pin but haven’t messed with it yet.
