My buddy got this radio and we can't figure out how to make the radio transmit a DCS tone of 315. Our local repeater requires this tone.

I understand how to turn on the CCTS but not the DCS. Anyone know?

Are you programming on chirp or other computer program?  It’s 100,000times easier.    Second have you read the directions?   It should tell you.   Many you tubes also available to walk you through how to do it.

You have to choose the SUBSONIC or TRANSMIT SUBSONIC menu and then choose CDC rather than CTC from the menu:

Ok Shannon I'll tell him to give that a try. Thanks very much! The manual was VERY vague.

Radioddity says that they have an expanded manual (250 pages) for this radio and two others and they provide a link to the download page, but I can’t find it.
