0 OffRoaderX
I see this message when I have selected the wrong type of radio from the drop-down list. Is your radio a UV-5RH? WRUU653

0 TrikeRadio
radio image means a download of the data from the radio that matches your radio. I don't even see a UV-5RH on the read from radio list in my CHIRP.. maybe i need to update.. but is that you exact radio or did you choose the wrong one? possibly UV-5RH is a new radio for CHIRP and it is not working right yet? Is your radio a UV-5RH? No it’s a uv-5g plus. Which is supposed to be chirp compatible. But isn’t on the list. But people have told me that the uv5rh is basically the same. Are you using "CHIRP" or "CHIRP NEXT"? In CHIRP NEXT, select GM-5RH TrikeRadio and WRUU653 1

0 GMRSJohn
Ok so I put in the information. Uploaded it. Still don’t think I’m getting any repeaters unless I’m not doing something right. Which is highly likely.
0 Socalgmrs
Are you close enough with the little uv5 to hit the repeaters? Do you hear any one in the repeater’s? Do you have line of sight? What antena are you running? How far from the repeaters are you?
0 GMRSJohn
I hear a lot of people. The radio has no problem with picking up signals and range. They just can’t hear me.
0 Socalgmrs
Again all the other questions. Remember the repeater is most likely up on a hill with 50w and a big antenna. How far away are you? Do you have line of sight? Just because you can hear the repeater well does not me you can reach it with any radio let alone a hand held. Do you have that specific repeater programmed into the radio with the correct tones? Are you on the correct channel for that specific repeater?
