Anyone know how to get the Hand Mic "RJ-45 Jack" to keep from sliding out of the radio on the Midlands?

I'm not sure if this is an issue on any other Midlands, but it has been an issue on every MXT400 I have ever owned. Sometimes when picking up the hand mic, the RJ-45 ever so slightly slides out of the jack, and then I can't transmit until I reach down (sometimes while driving) and push it back in so the copper can make connection with the jack. Anyone have an easy fix for this?

Is your mic plug broken? I have this issue all the time when connecting ethernet cables to my router and pulling them out, the little plastic piece breaks right off.

I've found with many radios that you have to really push hard to get the little clip to fully engage. Otherwise it will eventually pop out when you pull on the cable using the mic or vibrations work it out.

Yup, making the plug is fully seated is the only fix. A lot of times it's the boot around the plug that's the problem.
