They're in the VHF spectrum. 162.400, 162.425, 162.450, 162.475, 162.500, 162.525, 162.550. Depending on your radio, you *might* be able to access them. back4more70 Posted April 12, 2023 Report Share Posted April 12, 2023 Welcome. GMRS does not have weather frequencies, but your radio can most likely receive the NOAA frequencies if you set them up. WRWE456 Posted April 13, 2023 Report Share Posted April 13, 2023 So which radio are you using? I have the Wouxun KG-935G Plus and it receives vhf/uhf and has the weather frequency's built in. I also love being able to use it to scan the local Sheriff, Fire and EMS. So as mentioned not a GMRS feature but a few radios do have the capability. Thanks in advance The official NOAA weather channel frequencies are on VHF. However some have discovered that the studio to transmitter site audio link at times is done on selected UHF frequencies. You can look at the attached file and see what kind of luck you have with it. See attached file. Two are listed for Canada. There is one for the US in the 163 MHz range you don't find commonly listed. I have no idea if that last one is really used.
