A little repeater help...

WRXU238

Question

I am an absolute noob to GMRS and could use some assistance setting up a couple repeaters in my area. I have three TIDRADIO GM-5R radios and I'm having some issues getting my first successful repeater connections.

One of the more powerful repeaters I have authorization uses DPL Codes 732/662.

It's a little confusing any help would be great!

Hi all! New to GMRS and I think I have a fairly good grasp on it except for preprogrammed radios. I have as KG-935G that is programmed with the 22 GMRS and 8 repeater channels. Are the CTCSS codes for the repeater channels preloaded also? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This should probably be a new top-level post instead of a comment on a different post.  That said, in a word, no, the CTCSS codes are NOT preloaded, as they differ (or can differ) for every repeater.  You will have to search the repeater on the main page of mygmrs.com and get the codes there.
