1. What is the proper name of the connector on the end of an HT antenna that enables it to connect to the HT? I am thinking an RG58 because I have a couple RG58 to SO239 jumpers but when I look up RG58 it seems to be coax rather than the connector.
2. Do all HT brands and models use the same type and gender connector or does it vary? A Baofeng HT has what I would call a male connector even though the threaded portion is female.
I need a couple adapters and jumpers and I am just trying to make sure I have the terminology straight. I also need to order a couple jumpers and gender benders.
