Picking Up the Same Group Chatter on 6+ Channels

Newbie here. Did a channel scan on my UV-9G and picked up the same group, about 4 or 5 peeps having a group convo, on at least 6 channels including a repeater channel that is not programmed, a DIY channel and even 2 NOAA channels. How is this possible?

It’s not.  At least not simultaneously.  I’m guessing that your radio is jumping back to the channel they’re on without changing the display.

It looks like these NOAA channels were not set up as NOAA frequencies so I changed a some of them for my area.
