UpperBucks Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 I'm on a Mac, Chrome or Firefox, the streaming audio feeds for the nets do not play at all. They THINK they are playing, but they have no sound. Any troubleshooting ideas? WSCG586 1 Quote
WRXB215 Posted February 8, 2024 Report Posted February 8, 2024 I'm on Windows 10 and have never been able to get the sound to work. WSCG586 and SteveShannon 2 Quote
WRNY937 Posted February 22, 2024 Report Posted February 22, 2024 Same issue here - Mac using Firefox or Safari. Live Audio timer advances, button appears, but no audio. I also tried in using Microsoft Edge running Windows under Parallels, as well as my Apple Phone. No audio heard in any combination, even though the Activity Log on the map showed lots of activity on the hub I selected. I'm logged into my MyGMRS account for all of these. Would appreciate any suggestions on this. Quote

rdunajewski Posted February 23, 2024 Report Posted February 23, 2024 I'm listening on Chrome on Windows right now to 169 Midwest Hub, and it's working fine. Quote
WRNY937 Posted February 23, 2024 Report Posted February 23, 2024 (edited) I selected the Midwest Hub and I'm hearing the conversation! Selected Northeast hub - nothing - even tho the Activity log is showing traffic. Back to Midwest Hub and I hear audio. So it seems like something is right about the Midwest hub and wrong with the others. Thanks for the reply. Hope this can help to track down the issue. I tried all the listed hubs and only Midwest had audio. None of the others did even though the activity log showed traffic. Edited February 23, 2024 by WRNY937 update - tried all hubs SteveShannon 1 Quote
WSAH999 Posted February 25, 2024 Report Posted February 25, 2024 I've only ever been able to hear them on my phone browser. Which is just the default Android internet app. Quote
WRNY937 Posted February 29, 2024 Report Posted February 29, 2024 Well, the audio on the Midwest Hub is no longer there for me. I haven't changed anything on my computer. WSCG586 1 Quote
WRVN721 Posted March 8, 2024 Report Posted March 8, 2024 Bruce Walker - WRVN721 here. I have not had any luck getting the audio to work on the MyGMRS site as well. I know there are people transmitting because the Activity log is showing traffic. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem? Quote
Chilango Posted May 1, 2024 Report Posted May 1, 2024 It seems to be sporadic for me. Sometimes it plays and sometimes it doesn't. Haven't figured out why. Raptor1 1 Quote
WSCH954 Posted May 1, 2024 Report Posted May 1, 2024 Me as well i have got it to work a couple of times and last 10 times nothing. I have been tryin for 2 days on different PC's windows 10 I thought it was me. Good luck all Quote
WRXB215 Posted May 1, 2024 Report Posted May 1, 2024 It only plays when you are trying to focus on doing some other work. Chilango, SteveShannon and Raptor1 3 Quote
WSDD519 Posted June 5, 2024 Report Posted June 5, 2024 It was working for a short time...but now it doesn't. No matter what computer or browser I use. Update: I was able to hear traffic out of FL on the Southeast hub today (6/6/24). I see activity all over the place but no audio except from the SE hub. Tried two other browsers with no luck. Quote
WRUK738 Posted June 13, 2024 Report Posted June 13, 2024 There are few willing to spend time on other than their own local net, Ham global nets like KA6WIN have about 6 hams on line at all times directing net traffic GMRS nets have a talent shortage by comparison, (no money in t for GMRS) Quote
