Installed radio on 2016 Colorado. Receive side works fine, very quiet. When I key the mike, great signal goes out but I hear static and squeal in the cab. It appears as if the vehicle is picking up the signal most likely through some type of bleed through. Tried moving the magnetic antenna and coax, even removing the vehicle antenna, turned off bluetooth, vehicle radio but all the same. As xmt power decreased so does noise and squeal. Help! I am a member.

I would first locate exact what/where "in the cab" the squeal is coming from, and go from there.

My first guess, something may not be properly grounded that may be contributing to the squeal on another device.

Do you have another radio in the cab that you’re listening to when you transmit?
