XPR8300 setting TX interval and Mix Mode Timer for CWID on GMRS

Question

Posted

Hi all, and thanks in advance for any help here.

Trying to set up my XPR8300 for us as a GMRS repeater.  Using MOTOTRBO CPS 16.0 (Build 828).  What values should be entered in the TX interval and Mix Mode Timer for CWID on GMRS?  Can't seem to get the timing setup to behave as I was expecting it to.  Thanks again for any help here.

You’re required to ID every 15 minutes when transmitting.

I understand that. The real question is, will the settings in the screen shot in the original post achieve this on the XPR8300?

If I am interpreting Motorola's description of these fields properly I think it will.

I have worked with CAT and ARCOM controllers before so the Motorola set up is new to me.

Thanks  73,

Thomas
