  1. Very well, then. Appreciate the response. Off to find more radios then!
  2. Necro powers, ACTIVATE! I am looking at the SW-102 currently but the only source with the ground plate seems to be Surecom itself. Amazon has plenty for sale, even re-brands, but not one of them has the ground plate. Has anyone ordered from Surecom directly? If yes, how was the experience? How was shipping time?
  3. I get no replies on any of the repeaters near me. My solution was to tune in the repeater on my scanner to hear the radio.
  4. Splashy sounding. Almost spurious in a way.
  5. FCC doesn't care about his Xenu given rights!
  6. This is the way. This is the answer.
  7. I may be wrong here, but my understanding is that there used to be but not really anymore. Some purists/traditionalists I guess still use a certain frequency for what you are asking though. Those channels are 19 and 20 (462.650 and 462.675 respectively) and apparently typically use 141.3 for the tone. The tribal elders here will eventually reply to correct me and/or point you in the right direction.
  8. They don't seem to post a changelog anywhere that I've ever been able to find, but there are videos put out sometimes on YT which discuss changes. Here are a couple of them. Hopefully they can answer some of your questions.
  9. Took them 4 days to grant mine. However, I ended up seeing it on ULS two hours before the email arrived.
  10. Gave the same answer in your other thread.
  11. They're pretty much issued sequentially without geographic consideration. At least this is my understanding.
  12. @WSDS356 Oh I get that. I was more wondering if you could get out at all with matching tones.
  13. Glad to hear it! Enjoy the fruits of your labor.
  14. Hmm. Your list looks markedly different from my list. This is the default in the radio (I have 2 TD-H3s) and the only thing I have changed is the repeaters (not visible here). I have no duplicate channels the way you do here. What happens if you set both 462.58750 (2-1 and 2-2) to the same tone?
  15. Interesting. For me it was that the site didn't like the browser privacy settings (LibreWolf). They were apparently too strict.
  16. Acid core is not a good thing as stated previous by SteveShannon.
  17. Yes. I shutdown every night and cold boot in the mornings. Fast boot is always disabled so cache is cleared. Has to be this browser... just checked in Firefox and the map is working there, but it was also working in LibreWolf just last night. Head scratcher right now! I'll figure it out. It's updated so not sure. In fact, I will reboot again just to be certain.
  18. Odd. It was working yesterday and yesterday evening for me and has stopped today. I haven't changed anything, so this is curious. Thank you.
  19. The repeater map is not loading for me this morning. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I'd upload an image, but the site seems to scramble them up. SOLVED: It was a couple of security settings which got enabled in my browser during the last update I applied. Namely, OCSP blocking was enabled as well as WebGL blocking. Allowing myGMRS to have access to these resolved the issue.
  20. The option is to scan for repeaters on a scanner or other capable radio. I say this, but am yet to start such a scan on my SDS100.
  21. Can you show a screenshot of your program? Whether it be chirp or odmaster? I find that while odmaster does seemingly import successfully, it doesn't always import CORRECTLY in my experience with the H3.
  22. Solid advice! My wife is, luckily, a gun person and has never turned away a stray. Sadly, no such feelings toward radios! haha... "no, it's always been here" hahaha
  23. That is my hope! hahaha... thanks. I appreciate that!
  24. I am already sitting here with my finger over the "Buy Now" buttons. Yes, buttons. PLURAL. The wife just looks at me shaking her head. This is a touchy situation and I am uncertain where she will hide my body.
  25. Thanks! Yes... but the horrible side effect is that buying more radios!
