Which, of the thousands of listed repeaters are you referring to? Irregardlessly of which repeater you want to use, the basic steps are to request-access to the pacific repeater you wish to use. The repeater owner will then "approve" or deny your request and send you the TX and RX tone and channel/frequency.. IF the repeater you wish to use is "open", then no request is necessary and you should see all the info you need on the pacific page for the pacific repeater you want to use. IF you meant something else, please elaborate.

Depends on the repeater/repeater owner.. It could take anywhere from 5 minutes to never.

no, it does not sound like you are missing anything. Double check the tone in your Midland table, and if possible, confirm that the tone for the repeater is correct.. It is possible that the repeater/tone you are configuring is no longer online, and you are hearing a different repeater.

Not when you have it set backwards like you posted.. The "pair" is opposite on the repeater than it is on a radio.. On the repeater you TX on 462, RX on 467. On your radio you TX on 467, and RX on 462.

I dont have my laptop in front of me so I dont remember where you pull the model number, but YES, the Up/Download IS backwards (wrong!!) and it causes me MUCH wailing and gnashing of teeth!
