I don’t want to speak for Randy but I think you’ll find it was a sarcastic response to what was supposed to be a comment on the radio. Just a bit of humor at the expense of Androids.

From my experience with two of the units, they just fail because they are cheap junk.

That's true.. Android units are usually cheap junk.

Had a tough time getting mine to connect.  After a few tries, logging into the OD app and turning the radio on and off it connected.

Except when made by Motorola. The only thing in my house that is Motorola is my cell phone. I've had it for years. It has out lasted 3 Google Pixels that my daughter went through and 2 that my wife went through. That's why I got my son the same phone as mine.
