I found this listing on Craig's list for this. He has DB-420 antenna's for sale for $300 each.

He did tower work for a living and has retired from the business. He is selling off items around his

shop. I have have purchased 6 of them last week. Please don't contact him unless you are

serious about a purchase. He said he has many more.

Name is Charlie.  The Email is ct469911@gmail.com

I am posting this because these antennas have been to hard to find.

I hope this helps someone.

The comscope antennas are wonderful commercial antennas. Note, however, they are designed as repeater site antennas. They are designed to be mounted 100+ feet high and have a downward radiation pattern. The DB-420 has 11db of gain, but down. It is documented at 7 degrees of vertical bandwidth.

I just wanted to warn people this is not an ideal antenna for a base station without considerable modification, and it should not be taken lightly.

any still available, we are in need of two for future repeaters in SE Florida

Given that it’s more than three years ago, you would probably have to check Craig’s List as mentioned in the original post.

Reviewing CommScope's documentation, I read that as +/- 7° from horizontal, 14° total. Did I misunderstand?

EDIT: I see this post is from 3+ years ago. That's what I get for not checking dates before posting...

Yes, you misunderstood. The vertical width is a total of 7°.
According to the documentation the default tilt is 0°, or horizontal.
If you want it to have a down tilt you would have to contact the manufacturer and ask them to adjust the phasing harness (I assume they do).
