I might just as well have my address and phone number as my username.... And yet there is an old post here warning about posting private information. KAF6045 Posted July 30, 2022 Report Share Posted July 30, 2022 License information is public information -- anyone can scan the ULS to find call signs, names, and addresses of licensees. When using the radio, you are required to ID... So anyone monitoring/scanning GMRS channels living in your vicinity can easily record your ID from the air and then use ULS to find that information.
