WRKC935 Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 Was thinking that an email list / contact list for individual repeaters or something to that effect so communications can be sent out when a repeater will be down for service or other reasons. Quote
WRXB215 Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 Can't this be done through the current repeater update email? SteveShannon 1 Quote

I would assume that email goes to every member of the site. I am referring to just my repeaters. I could go through while it's still only 200 ish registered users and copy paste their email into a distribution list myself. But there are repeater owners that have thousands of members. That would be quite an undertaking for them Quote
WRXB215 Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 It is a list of every repeater grouped by state that has a change. You simply scroll to the state, click on the repeater of interest, and see the latest status. It's very quick and easy to see if any of the repeaters I use are in the list. If they are, I just click and see what the status is. WRUU653 and SteveShannon 2 Quote

The ones I actually own and maintain. I think you are getting confused on what I am trying to say here. As a user, when you ask for access to a repeater, you have to put in your name, phone number and email address. That information pops up in the request when the repeater owner gets the notification that someone wants to access your repeater. I was referring to those email addresses being accessible as a contact list or in some manner usable to email all registered users that maintenance was going to be performed and the repeater would be down for some reason. This could be either a downloadable contact list to import into an email application, or a broadcast email from the mygmrs.com system to inform registered users that the equipment would be down. It's not something that repeater users would even have access to directly or indirectly. Quote

Premium members have the ability to generate repeater access request reports. You can do them for all your repeaters or specific to a particular repeater and for all statuses or for a status of pending, approved, or denied. Maybe that would help you. I have no idea what information appears in the report or the format. TrikeRadio and WRXB215 2 Quote

Just put news of pending service outages into the repeater information so it’s available in one place where people can look it up. TrikeRadio, WRUU653 and WRXB215 2 1 Quote
hfd376 Posted August 24, 2025 Posted August 24, 2025 Yes, I know I'm thawing out an old topic, but I thought it could use a refreshment. I have 4 repeaters on the air. I do keep a record of each repeater's users. Just not the email addresses. The "Run Reports" software as configured shows columns labeled Repeater Name, User Name and Callsign, Phone number etc. I am wondering if the columns labeled Number of Users, Requested Date, Approved, and Updated Date could be removed and put their email in place of them. Even if you couldn't download a .CSV file, it certainly would be easier than clicking on each approved member to glean the email address. What do you think? Doug Mitchell WROW 434 Quote
n8xbd Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Just paid for a premium subscription and discovered that the email addresses are still not available in the report generation. Very disappointed in that, was hoping that it would have been added by now. No way to reasonably contact the users of my repeater to inform them of service status. TrikeRadio 1 Quote

As a member of this forum I’m relieved to learn that Rich doesn’t share my email address, but I think it’s a very reasonable thing for you to request email addresses from people who ask to use your repeater. However, you could pm the people you want to reach. The notification is delivered via email for me at least. TrikeRadio, WRUU653 and Blaise 2 1 Quote
