Where are you?  No need to disclose your specific address, but if we had the city/intersection we could post the info for the nearest repeater.

Just an FYI, If you want to give people a general location without being too specific you can use what is called a Maidenhead Grid Square location.

Going into June and my call sign still not found for me to register. 🤷🏽‍♂️

You are entering an invalid callsign. This is not an issue with the website.

WSC1776 is not in the right format. It must be 4 letters and 3 digits for recent callsigns. Please double check your callsign.

A good truck is to try and find your license on the FCC website. If you can't find it there, you have it wrong.

Hi Shannon, is there a way direct message you or does that happen once I  am registered?

Yes, you put the member's screen name preceded by a @ symbol; such as:

@WRYS709

And that will send that member a notification that you have mentioned him in a post.

The other way is to send a private message (through the envelope at the top), if you want to keep it from being posted to others.

It takes a few days for new licenses to show up in the DB.  When was yours granted?

It was only granted yesterday.  The database might not be updated until this week sometime.

Kudos to you for managing to navigate that dumpster fire of a website to get that data.

Do you have to sacrifice a small child every time to get it to work?😂

No, it’s very easy.
1. Google “GMRS lookup”

2. Or simply use this FCC site: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchGmrs.jsp

3. Enter the GMRS callsign.

4. Hit enter.

5. Wait a little while.

6. If you want more, click on the callsign.

Just checked and my call sign still not found on here to allow me to register.

also do I need to know if the tone is a C or D to program into a radio? If so then I’ll just program in a C and if it doesn’t work program on a D.

Are you trying to register using wsci776?  Earlier you were trying wsc1776, which is definitely wrong.  Call signs are four letters and three numbers.

Guest @steve shannon

I was Able to register with the help of many on here. Now I need To program the repeaters on my GXT3000’s when they get here. I heard It’s not user friendly in that department.
