Permission for using gmrs call sign by those not in same household

I don't even understand why you are comparing it to amateur radio. The two sets of regulations have nothing to do with each other. Might as well compare the GMRS regulations to using a cell phone. Why bother?

(2) Any individual who holds an individual license may allow his or her immediate family members to operate his or her GMRS station or stations. Immediate family members are the licensee's spouse, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, parents, grandparents, stepparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Seem pretty clear to me..... their definition of family

Not being in the "FAMILY," I don't think I can delegate any behavior to the individual licensee on how to conduct their responsibilities in this matter.

Back up here, I wasn't comparing Amateur Radio to GMRS at least that wasn't my intension. Yes, I did run down a few facts about having Amateur Radio License, but I wasn't trying compare Amateur Radio to GMRS. You can't compare GMRS to Cell Phones. I guess I have to stop putting in my 2 cents for a spell, because I sure don't like being told that I'm wrong. I maybe hardheaded, but please don't correct like I'm a child.
