FreeUse of the repeater is free but a free club membership is required. The antenna sits on a Commercial Tower at approximately 190 feet and CommScope DB408-B. The effective coverage is about 40 miles. This repeater belongs to CLAARC (Clifton Linden Area Amateur Radio Club) and was established as a community repeater to facilitate basic communications needs for everyday use and is open for public safety use should the need arise. In giving community members access to this system we hope that it can also function as a stepping stone that leads to a long and happy Amateur Radio Hobby. Thanks Frank N6AQ / WqWr627 -
