Because his Constant insistence on cutting down people's efforts are tiring ! He speaks shit without thinking first, and a lot of it is incorrect ! I worked with a employee just like this, and eventually it got his nose busted ! SOCAL said This, without any consideration for the op. Can you do a Search on the Board number ? It looks like it might be Under the large cabled connector. Doing a search of that number on duck duck go OR Repeaterbuilder.com might pull up the wiring guide.

MANY repeaters have a hang time of .5 to 1 second delay, and BCLO as some radios label it, can be more of a pain than a help.

GMRS is another tool in the toolbox. Where some people might not have a ham license, the Gmrs license is good alternative. Even MURS is a good choice for people without Any license.
