I have my vfo set to 1 khz. increments, unless I use memories then it's 15 khz. at a time.

That's Exactly what I meant. Listening from 437.815 down to 437.785 mhz. as the shift changes. This works well using the vfo on my 991a.

Exactly. Since GMRS was always intended to be a Short range or Local radio service to begin with. Everyone's ambitions about trying to make Gmrs a nationwide thing would be better served if they just studied up and got their amateur radio license instead, then they would have Several avenues available to them to accomplish Nationwide comms.

Has anyone researched the supposed differences between the former H3 and the H3 Plus ? Probably Still too small, like my Yaesu FT4X.

I find that if I track the ISS 15 mhz. up and down from 437.800mhz I can hear it awhile longer before it's out of range.

Nope, not too geeky at all, and absolutely Correct. I've got 9 ISS contacts under my belt, so far. 5 from my FT991A and a Comet SBB5 antenna at 50 foot, and 4 contacts from my FT70 talkie with a Signal Stick antenna . Of course the ISS app helps with tracking it overhead.

Wouxun's latest addition is the 935H which is identical in appearance to the 935G, but being a 3 Band radio for amateur radio with the 2meter/1.25 meter/70 cm bands, and with a 4 digit keypad trick it will also add Gmrs & Murs . Mine has been pretty flawless so far, and I like it alot. For those who hold both licenses, it's a nice addition.
