Haven’t seen this topic really discussed. What radio(s) are everyone using. Home base station and mobile. Let’s include antenna and cable as well.

GMRS:

In the Exploder:  Retevis RA87. Midland MXTA26 antenna

Home, DB20-G soon to be delivered KB9VBR J-Pole

Home/Portable (off-road spotting/recovery)  Midland LXT600 GMRS/FRS (only radio wifeypoo cares to ever touch!) Radioddity GM-30 HT

Ham Stuff:

Home: Yaesu FT-450D - TYT UV380 DMR a couple BooFwangs - Comet CHA250B Vertical @ 35ft

Exploder:  Yaesu FT-891 with ATAS120A antenna and Kenwood TM-281a - Comet dualband, forget the model #

Two Icom 2730a units w/MARS mod, one mobile,  and one base w/comet GP-3.

I'm pretty utilitarian.  may get a handheld,  we'll see, haven't though much of it.

Waiting for a new release Anytone DMR this summer really,  But will need a GMRS one as well I suppose haha....   Not sure.

I like my 2730a w/Mars-Cap mod so much, I’ve considered picking up a couple Icom IC T10 (w/ Mars-Cap) handhelds too. While it’s apparently not superheterodyne, I’m thinking it must be a couple steps above the typical CCR.

I’ve enjoyed the 2730, so I just picked up the ID-50 handheld. While it’s overkill for GMRS use (with Mars mod), it will be ideal when I add the next license. The radio is quite nice, both in build quality and feature set.

We mounted my “old” Midland MTX575 in my son’s Jeep, and Friday his Midland GXT67 Pro handheld will arrive.

I’m lucky to live in an area with a decent repeater and some great folks to talk to. We had a big picnic last weekend and got to put faces with names. Good times.

Not listing my amateur radio gear, too many radios

GMRS - 2 bow fangs, a uv5g and a gm21 - and a couple of fake motos (gp-68)

I don't need a fixed station for gmrs, the ht's will do it for me.

I also don't like those nagoya 771s unless it's for ht fencing --- "En garde"
