Guest WSEP725 Posted September 17, 2024 Report Posted September 17, 2024 There are nine repeater channels. How do you program them? I have repeaters programmed in by switching to frequency mode, entering frequency, going to menu and entering ctcss codes, then saving to an unused channel. But how do I set up the actual repeater channels manually? Quote

Expand In a GMRS radio, just choose one of the pre-programmed repeater channels, 23-30 (there are 8 of them) and set the necessary tone to get into the repeater. Channels 15-22 are also used for duplex communications by the repeater. The repeater receives a transmission on one of the frequencies marked 15R through 22R and simultaneously retransmits it on a frequency that is 5 MHz lower, marked 15-22 (no ‘R’). WRXB215 1 Quote
