THAT is the part I was being snarky about. Wondering why someone would be curious about a thing is...certainly a position to take. People are allowed to be curious for curiosity's sake. My point was be they from Utah, Texas, or Florida, or Idaho, it's a reasonable thing for *any* licensed operator to ask the FCC, if they want more information on it.

Except that you are BOTH in Utah!

Seems to be MORE than just a coincidence! hahaha

If I recall, last year, I looked this up and the current treaties and agreements no longer list UHF freqs as affected freqs that have Lines A and C restriction between thd two countries. What I don't recall if that affected the T-Band freqs because since that didn't affect me, and we can't use them, I didn't care if it did of not. However, the FCC still put the Lines A and C restrictions on the Part 90 and 95 licenses.

Happily, it seems the FCC's already updated it!   My household applied for and received a license on 2024-12-25, and the application form no longer included the statement about Line A and C.

But does the official copy of your license? That’s what matters.

Edited to add: I just looked up my license and under waivers and conditions it no longer mentions Line A or C.

Gone the way of the DoDo. Mine is the same.

But I find no mention of it in any announcements on the FCC website. Damned bureaucrats.

Nor do I. I guess none of this ever happened.

May I suggest a salute to our brothers and sisters North of Line A and East of Line C by pressing the PTT on channel 19 at high noon using the Roger beep.😁👍

into a dummy load of course. 🤣

The only one I can download now is the "Reference" copy. Can't get the "Official" copy. Not sure what the difference is but yeah, when I download the reference copy it does not have the Line A/Line C restriction.

Yeah I ran into that too, as you know their site is not well laid out. Go to the License Manager page, log in and once you do that at near the top of the page you'll see this

(if I rememer correctly the referance copy link is at the bottom of the page, don't click that one) click on "here" in the green box and it will take you to a page where you can choose which license you want to print and the print button will be in the lower right hand side.

Thanks for the reminder of how to print the official copy. I always have to fumble around a little bit too.
