how many gmrs licenses in your state?

searching uls by state, 5 years ago from today for the date, and choosing grant date, there are 298 gmrs licenses in Idaho. 140 in Wyoming.  How many in your state?

We have 796 here in Oregon, 1,647 in Washington state.

New York state has 1,981 active GMRS licenses in the FCC database.

By querying the data in myGMRS for all active licenses, here is a sampling of some states:

I know this is an old thread but made me curious as to how many in St.Johns County Fl where I live. Its 21 with about 5 expiring this year.

I realize that this topic has been dormant for some time however I just received my GMRS license and was curious as to how many licenses there are in the District of Columbia/Maryland/Virginia area as I reside in southern Maryland but am close to both DC and VA.

 

Active licenses only:

 

District of Columbia: 81

 

Maryland:                938

 

Virginia:                  1673

quoting Rich for comparison; I just checked California via ULS (almost 6 years later, to the day), and got:

14,295 active licenses in CA.

123 in my metro area.

 

interesting part is the relative size of the two towns; one is near 1 million, and has 68 active licenses.  the other is a little over 100k, and has 55 active licenses. was trying to get the entire county, but the geosearch isn't playing along.

And since March of this year it has gone up to 16,138

If I used the FCC search correctly looks to be a total of 2829 active GMRS licenses in my state of Ohio.829
