Looks good but you have the wrong channel!  Everyone knows it should be CH19..

But, also, i think the "average" GMRS/FRS adventurer probably does not know what a "PL" is, and probably does not know how to set/change it.  Of course, the radio-dorks do, but nobody wants to talk with them.

Those are pretty neat!  I think if you're going to be traveling a lot, that can be something to help keep you company while driving.

 

I was supposed to be going to Moab, but I get very sick twice this year.  We rescheduled for August of 2024.  We're going to do some desert runs in SoCal, the Rubicon, Black Bear Pass, then head to Utah.  Planning 3 weeks in total.

As far as I understand you cannot operate on CH19 and CH21 North of Line A. So, for me travel channel would be CH20.
