I had an issue and Rich fixed it... It was my fault... I had two different email address for the main login and for the forum and could not link the account... Send an email to support@mygmrs.com and you will be fixed. FYI I sent my login display name and password and he figured it out... You can trust him unless it is the same password you use for your banking... joking... My banking password has $$ in it. Enjoy the new creature features... I'm still learning... I like your comments. I switched to GMRS HT and installed in my new Jeep mounted to the passenger hand bar. Did not even install my old CB from the old Jeep, but picked up a CB handheld if I ever need it... Happy Jeeping in Moab. Jack

As SWR is a constant topic in radio, and since it may be difficult initially to grasp the concept of, I thought it would be helpful to provide a link to an incredibly effective video that allows you see it in action. The video is 60 years old and was produced by AT&T labs. It is worth watching from start to finish. You will get to see standing waves, reflected waves, impedance matches, mismatches, shorts and opens. It does not get visually any clearer than this. Enjoy. Michael WRHS965 KE8PLM

that explains something then...mine were both the same email, but slightly different passwords between the main site and the forum. the one i had saved for the forum no longer works, and now the one for the main site works on the forum.

Actually, just about everyone should be fixed now. I ran a script to compare the myGMRS email to the forum email and for anyone that had them different, I copied the myGMRS email over. Glad you were finally able to link up the accounts!

Love the new look to the site. The only suggestion is to allow the forum to be selected directly rather than through the drop down.

First trail GMRS use and man, do I prefer that over CB. Still have the CB installed in the Jeep as it will be a secondary form of comms for others that haven't seen the light yet. Running trails in Moab. Ran Elephant hill yesterday and on the way out, the team leader was well over 5 miles out and some generous but not too heavy terrain between us and we were talking back an forth as if we were standing next to each other. Oh yeah!
